We've all been waiting for news on the engagement for Barnsbury and Laycock Liveable Neighbourhood (BLLN) - here it is.
the Council’s page sets out the status of the BLLN, and lays out the plans for the project, with implementation starting in early 2024.
Most importantly that page announces two meetings where we can all tell the Council how we want the area improved. You can only attend the meetings if you register with Eventbright – a link is provided on the Council's page but to make it easy here are the two direct links:
Online public meeting - Wednesday 22 February 7pm - 8.30pm: There will be a presentation to explain the project and an opportunity to ask questions.
Online public meeting
In-person workshop - Tuesday 7 March 6.30pm-8.30pm at Islington Town Hall: There will be an activity in groups to tell us how you think we should improve the area in this project. Bookings are for half-hour sessions.
In-person workshop
Please do attend the meetings and please do register NOW – tickets will go very quickly.
